Grade 2 - Week 6 - Laurel Burch


THIS LESSON WILL BE PRESENTED LIVE THIS WEEK DURING OUR SCHEDULED ART TIME.

Art Supplies:
White drawing or watercolor Paper
Black Oil Pastel (or any black drawing tool)
Watercolors and Paintbrush
*If you do not have paint at home, you can easily do this 
assignment with crayons, markers, or color pencils. 
Vocabulary: 
Pattern: a repeating decorative design.
Whimsical: playfully quaint or fanciful, especially in an appealing and amusing way.
Vertical: lines that move up and down. 
Horizontal: lines that move side to side.




Laurel Burch is an artist that is full of passion and originality. Her positive attitude is very inspirational. Some artists can create artwork that has uplifting effects on our emotions, and Laurel Burch has mastered this skill.
