Grade 4 - Week 3 - Zentangle
(You can choose your own supplies based on what you have available to you at home)
Key Words
Foreground:the part of a picture or artwork that is nearest to the observer.
Background: the part of a picture that serves as a setting to the main figures or objects, or that appears furthest from the viewer.
Zentangle: The Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. We call these patterns, tangles.
Pattern: a repeated decorative design.
My Art Supplies
Printed Fox or Rabbit
(If you don’t have access to a printer you can draw your own fox or rabbit.) Drawing Paper 9X12 - (any paper size 8.5X11 or larger)
Oil Pastels
Watercolor Paint
Sharpie Scissors Glue

When you complete your artwork feel free to send me a picture or you can hold onto it until we return to school. I recommend making an “Art Folder” that you can bring back to school with you. You can also ask an adult to help you tag a photo to my classroom Instagram account.
